August 2012

Remember when I told you last post that we like to be outside a lot?  Here we are again, having a blast outside!  This is me painting my cousin Ayden's birthday gift.  I really had a good time doing this art work.  Whit was watching and giving me suggestions of what color to use next.
 Mommy loves my hands.

We had a family wedding to go to, so we all got dressed up!  Daddy's cousin Joni got married to John!  :)  Here we are playing in the nursery at the church...it's hard for us to be quiet.
Mommy made us take lots of pictures because she thought we looked super cute.
 Hanging out at the reception:

We celebrated Ayden's 2nd birthday, too!

Holding hands, getting ready to pray:
 I love sweets.
 Nana and me laughing..it's a secret.  :)
I think Ayden liked my artwork.

Mommy caught this picture of me.  This is my Thomas magazine.  I really love it when it comes in the mail!  I get to read stories, do activities, and I'm the first to know when a new video is going to come out, or when there is a new train coming to the island of Sodor.  I'm a Thomas Insider.
Here's Whit snuggling up against Aunt Beanie:

Here I am with Elias.  We went to the pool in Nonni's neighborhood with our Mommies and had so much fun!  The baby pool was awesome, and we got to go in the big pool too!  Our Mommies floated us around, bounced balls with us, and wore us out.  When we got home, Nonni had snacks ready for us!

We got to have our friends, Liz and Jackson out to visit.  Jackson was born 10 weeks after Whit...and Liz and Mommy are the same amount of time apart!  I wonder if Jackson and Whit will be friends for 22 years...:)
We had a family reunion in August, too!  Here is Whit with Nana...he's really trying to get down on the floor and play.

One last picture of me at my best...hopped up on sugar.  :)

July 2012

Here's an awesome video of Whit laughing.  Pa came to visit and brought this sweet toy!  Enjoy!

My Daddy and I love to watch sports together.  We have what we like to call "Family PTI" when Mike Wilbon and Tony Kornheiser talk about sports on ESPN.  It's one of the best parts of the day.

Happy Fourth of July!  Mommy got me these sweet flags...I'm not sure why she thought I wouldn't wave them in Whit's face.  That's what little brothers are for...to mess with.

Why the counter, you ask?  Because it's fun.
 Red, Whit and blue.  :)

Here I am at the Waynesboro Extravaganza, watching fireworks.  Papa bought me this sweet light necklace so he could keep an eye on me.  Mommy strapped this monkey to my back for the same reason.  She didn't care that people were staring, she didn't want to lose me in the crowd.  And it was a huge crowd!  They were some of the best fireworks Mommy, Daddy, and Papa had ever seen!  It was my first experience, so the bar has been set high in my mind.  When Mommy asked me about the fireworks later, I told her that it went, "Shhhh....boom."  Complete with hand gestures.

Papa is looking good with my light necklace/crown.  Mommy was so excited to see my face...she just watched me instead of the fireworks.  She said that I was even more beautiful.  Whit and Nonni stayed home and snuggled.  I was up late, but Whit needed to go to bed!

Here is Whit asleep in his walker.  He pooped himself out!

 Walking on Papa's feet:
While Whit was eating, I jumped up on the counter and said, "Picture, Mommy!"  She always takes my picture when I ask.  No, it's not a two-way street, thanks for pointing out the obvious.

Nonni and Papa got me this SWEET chair for my birthday (yes, it's early).  It is awesome, and I got to help Mommy put it together.

Hanging with Grandpa again...he and Nana came out to help us with the deck two weekends in a row.  We now have all new stairs and walking boards.  It's going to be awesome in the fall.

We've been doing a lot of swimming, playing in the back yard, and having visitors this summer.  Hope your summer was great too!
