Crazy Baby

Hi there friends!  Happy St Patrick's Day!  This is a video of a little leprechaun who likes to climb everything in the house.

Mommy caught him on camera before removing him this time, just to make sure it was documented.  Don't worry -- Daddy was standing by, ready to catch him if he made any sudden moves.  (**No animals or babies were injured during the making of this video.  And yes, Whit does all of his own stunts.**)

He is usually running around the table, not sitting.  Now we just leave the chairs up on the table all the time instead of on the floor.  We get them down to eat, but that's it.  Better safe than sorry, right?

Hello all!  Here are the happenings from our house for February:

We went to our first "Mommy-Son date Knight" at Chick-fil-a!  The whole place was decorated like a castle, and we even got to dress up in a helmet, shield and carry a sword for a picture.  The Chick-fil-a people were all dressed up, and seated us and served us at the table.  It was so fun, and Mommy felt very special.

We make a lot of baked goods at our house, and some of us get very excited about that.  I'm not pointing any fingers.

We love our train table!

Sometimes I get put in time out.  And by sometimes, I mean pretty much daily.  This was one of those times, and Daddy came to sit with me during my "punishment."  Then Whit joined in and it ended up not being a time out at all.  Mommy wasn't pleased that her discipline attempt was foiled, but she took pictures to document.

Remember the trampoline that I got for Christmas from Nana and Grandpa?  We put it together, and I was a really big help.  Here's how I pronounce trampoline: "Trance-oh-ween."  Feel free to start calling it that.  It sounds much fancier, like "Tar-jay" for Target.  Get on board.  Forgive the out-of-focus camera shot...what is important is that you can hear what I'm saying loud and clear.

I'm sure you guys know that we do a lot of laughing at this house.  Here's Whit-Whit laughing at popping packing bubbles.  It's so fun when we get a package with these in it!  Don't mind me screaming in the background as Mommy tries to get the video of Whit.  I was on the potty, and I needed assistance there at the end.  Pun intended.  Have a great day!

January 2013

Hi everyone!  Here's our overdue January post...but don't judge.  February is short.  Here is Whit talking on the phone.  He starts jabbering away, and he is very tickled with himself when the phone talks back.  He's also started to kiss the real phone when he talks to people on it!

Here we are doing some painting.  It was Whit's first day of painting, and most of it ended up in his mouth.  Hopefully Mommy remembered to buy non-toxic.

Another project, one of my favorites!  Marshmallows covered in melted chocolate, then rolled in crushed peppermint!  Yummy!

Here's one of the random warm days, when we helped Daddy clean out the shed.  Look what we found!  This was a toy that my Mommy and Aunts played with when they were little!

And the next day, it was snowing!  Crazy month.

Whit got his first haircut.  Mommy was sad, but she agreed that he was still cute afterwards!

Can you see the drool going all the way down to the floor on his smock?  The only time he cried was when we had to rinse off the lollipop!

 We like to snuggle...I think it's genetic.

 Here we are playing with Daddy's old coaching equipment.  I can't wait to play football for real!  :)
