Boxing with Daddy

I've mentioned this before, but my Daddy and I are best buds! We play like crazy...and I love it! This is a video of one of our recent boxing matches. Enjoy! (There is another new post from yesterday, just look under 'Older Posts.')

Pool Party

Today I went to the outside pool for the first time! (Remember that time we got kicked out of the gym pool back in the winter? I don't know if that should count.)

We had tons of fun...check out my UPF outfit that Mommy got me! Here is Aunt Wubby helping me get ready:

There were some very cool fountains in the baby pool. At first I just looked at them, but after a while I was trying to catch the water, and eventually I was putting my face in it!

Mom let me take off my hat and glasses for a minute for this picture:

If you look very closely, you can see my tooth (my bottom right) in this picture:

I was pooped at the end of our adventure! I think we'll go again tomorrow! :)

I'm Dedicated

I don't know if you heard, but I'm dedicated. Dedicated to eating, snuggling, laughing, smiling. But as of Sunday, I'm officially dedicated to the Lord! :) Of course, my parents already dedicated themselves to raising me that way, but on Sunday at church, we had my official dedication ceremony. I had a lot of family and friends come to be with me. It was very special for me and my parents.

Here I am with my aunts and my great-grandparents, Muzzy and Pop Pop. They drove all the way from Ohio for the occasion.

Here I am at the church with Nonni and Papa:

It was so much fun to hang out with everyone on such a meaningful day! Thank you to everyone who came! Mom can't figure out how some people escaped without having pictures taken: Aunt Pam (Sprouse), Auntie A (Mary Allison) and Uncle Ben, Uncle Van. How did you guys do that? :) Thank you for coming! We love you!

Here I am swinging in my new swing from Nonni and Papa. I love it!

One of my other favorite things to do right now is drink water through a straw. If you let me, I'll drink your whole glass.

Later that day, I popped my first tooth through my gums! It was a big day for me. Here's Mommy's attempt at a picture of the tooth:

Getting ready for bed that night:

Brushing my teeth, I mean hair:

Mommy says my pincer grasp is developing. I don't know what that means, but I know I can pick up small things and put them in my mouth! Mommy got me some Platinum Puffs (that's what she calls the baby puffs she got me; you'll have to ask her why); I'm getting better all the time at putting them into my mouth. She also got me some Biter Biscuits, which I wasn't supposed to be able to bite through on the very first bite, but I did! Mommy jumped across the room to keep me from choking on the big piece in my mouth...she said something about faulty advertising. Now I know to gnaw on it, and I make an awesome mess as it dissolves.

Mommy says that I'm growing up too fast, but I sure am having fun doing it!

Big Post :)

I've got a lot to catch you up on! Let's get started!

Here I am with my beautiful cousins, Ashley, Abbey and Mary Ella:

The Big Le-Ouch-ski:

My first time using the Ouchy Bear was the day of Aunt Ali's shower. I was sitting on my play mat and bent over a little far to reach a much-wanted toy. I went face first onto the floor. We used the Ouchy Bear for a little while, but I'm a tough guy, so I really just wanted Mommy to leave me alone so I could get back to playing.

Aunt Ali's Shower (or, my cousin Elias' shower)

This is my Aunt Ali. She one of the most beautiful pregnant ladies ever. I got to go to the shower we threw for her and Elias (my cousin who will be joining us shortly). Aunt Ali and Uncle Van are much faster at picking out names than my Mom and Dad, huh?

Below is Elias with his Mommy and Nonni.

The ladies, and yours truly. We threw the shower at Aunt Terry's house.

Here I am with Aunt Wubby, who spiked my hair into a faux-hawk.

Cousin Elias, PLEASE come out soon so we can play. I can't wait to see you! We're going to be best friends foever! I love you!

Happy Birthday, Mary Allison!!!

This is my Auntie A. We celebrated her birthday in May, and we went to our traditional celebratory dinner, Masaki. We had a blast! Happy birthday, Auntie A! I'm so glad you were born!

Cooking + fire = exciting. Below, I'm hanging with Terra, my friend and Aunt Wubby's roomate.

Daddy and I are horsing around (no kidding, my favorite game right now is one he made up, called "Crazy Horse"):

Uncle Ben and me:

Cracker Barrel and the Chandlers:

This is my "cousin" Joshua. They came all the way from Hampton to hang out with me a couple of weeks ago. We ate at Cracker Barrel (I had applesauce), and had a great time throwing things on the floor for our Mommies to pick up!

Here I am with Nan, eating breakfast:

Hanging with Nonni and Papa:

Nonni and Papa came over for a visit last week, and they brought a bag of balls for me to dive into! We had so much fun playing with them! Check it out:

Thank you for the awesome present! We're going to have tons of fun with these...:)
