I'm leaving on a jet plane...

I'm getting so spoiled! Pa and Grandma Deana got me a cool jet plane to ride on. Thank you so much! Mommy and I had fun putting it together...hammers and screwdrivers are awesome.

Christmas so far...

Hi everyone! I'm really enjoying my Christmas season thus far. Below are 3 videos...two of me riding my first ATV, and one of me jamming with Ms. Mariah Carey. Don't be jealous of my serious moves; I'm happy to teach you. Merry Christmas!

Eating Green Beans, playing with balloons, and First Birthday Cake:

August 2010

My mom is still trying to catch up with the blogs from the summer...please be patient with her. I'm trying to reward her good behavior. This one is August 2010!

This is me opening a package from Pa and Grandma Deana...it had chocolates form Germany! It also had Bernard, the toy CPR dog who will not shut up about calling 911 when I press his paw. Mom says we better keep him around for emergencies!

This is me driving the parked car. Mom was fiddling with my carseat that day, so I jumped in and tried to help.

Always use your turn signal!

Here I am with Auntie A at BW3...representing the 'Skins. Back in August, their future looked so bright. Sigh.
Hanging with Daddy at BW3 after the draft.
Fantasy football is a big thing in my house...here I am with the trophy for Daddy's league.

Snuggle time!

I discovered the toilet paper! I think mom's words were..."Oh no! Oh well. Keep going. I'll get the camera."

Can you believe this is how they treat me? Eating on the floor?

Not so sure about this push toy thing...

Seriously mom, did you have to include this one? Although, it is a nice shot of my bum.
There's a video she posted earlier today you should check out...it's me doing fake hiccups! :)

Fake Hiccups

Right now, I think that everything Daddy does is the coolest! Last night, he started hiccuping, which I thought was hilarious. Then I decided that I'd give it a shot, too. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, is it not? :)

Happy Thanksgiving! (and other November activities...)

My Trim

Mom is very funny about my hair. She doesn't want to cut off all my curls, but she doesn't want me looking like a little girl either. The compromise was that Cousin Angie trimmed my bangs and the hair around my ears. Here is the big event:

They distracted me with a ginger snap. I never saw it coming.

Mom says I look like a big boy now!

Here I am giving Mary Ella a thank you smooch.

Thank you, Angie! You rock!

Here I am doing some landscaping in the house:

Here I am with Elias at Starbucks. Our mommies and Nonni made a stop there while shopping in Richmond.
Here I am giving Nonni a smooch...do you see a pattern here?
Uh oh...the tables are being turned...
Elias is getting big!
Thanksgiving

Here I am on the way to Nana and Grandpa's house for Thanksgiving. I'm smiling so big because I know I'll be eating well tonight! :)

Daddy and I hanging out with Ayden, my other little cousin:
Nana got me a new outfit...isn't it great?

I wouldn't keep the hat on for very long...
Daddy and I snuggling:
Ayden has a matching outfit!
Top 'o the morning to you!

November was a lot of fun...but I sense that something even bigger is happening next month. There's a big tree with lots of shiny things on it in my living room...

Race Day

I'm not looking for sympathy, but this is a picture of me getting my face slathered with vaseline at 6:45am yesterday morning on the streets of downtown Richmond. You see, my Mommy and aunts ran races yesterday and dragged me with them!

I guess I shouldn't complain too much. I got to wear this sweet Carhart jacket that Bradley gave me; I got to watch crazy people run past me all morning; and best of all, I got to hang out with my family! My Aunt Liz was so great...she and I hung out while Mommy and Uncle Jason ran the 8k. She's super fun...and loves me so much. Here I am with her:

Here I am all bundled up:

Here I am wearing Mommy's medal after the race:

In this picture, Aunt Wubby is blowing me a kiss as she's running past (she's wearing the green and black, to the left in picture):

This is after Aunt Beanie, Aunt Wubby and Terra finished the "real" race, the half marathon. Did you know that's 13.1 miles? They are amazing.

Did you see my Mommy's race bib? It says, "D's Mommy!" Here are the Barnett girls (we're going to get Aunt Ali to do it next year):

Here's Mommy and Uncle Jason after the 8k:

Here I am with Nan after the race:

We had such a fun day! I didn't sweat a drop.
