Race Day

I'm not looking for sympathy, but this is a picture of me getting my face slathered with vaseline at 6:45am yesterday morning on the streets of downtown Richmond. You see, my Mommy and aunts ran races yesterday and dragged me with them!

I guess I shouldn't complain too much. I got to wear this sweet Carhart jacket that Bradley gave me; I got to watch crazy people run past me all morning; and best of all, I got to hang out with my family! My Aunt Liz was so great...she and I hung out while Mommy and Uncle Jason ran the 8k. She's super fun...and loves me so much. Here I am with her:

Here I am all bundled up:

Here I am wearing Mommy's medal after the race:

In this picture, Aunt Wubby is blowing me a kiss as she's running past (she's wearing the green and black, to the left in picture):

This is after Aunt Beanie, Aunt Wubby and Terra finished the "real" race, the half marathon. Did you know that's 13.1 miles? They are amazing.

Did you see my Mommy's race bib? It says, "D's Mommy!" Here are the Barnett girls (we're going to get Aunt Ali to do it next year):

Here's Mommy and Uncle Jason after the 8k:

Here I am with Nan after the race:

High-fiving my cousin Joshua (Aunt Karen in the background):

Mom was saying something about giant orthodontist bills...what is she talking about? Here I am with Mommy after her race was over:

We had such a fun day! I didn't sweat a drop.
