July 2010

So, we all know that Mommy hasn't been the best at updating the blog since I started becoming mobile. Apparently the phrase "danger to oneself" is an understatement. Right now I'm napping with Daddy, so Mommy is taking this moment to try to fill in the gaps. This post is about my July 2010! Here we go...

July was the month of the faux-hawk. Part of my hair (the top part) grew faster than the rest, so I rocked the hawk for a while. Good times. Here I am hanging at Papa's house.

Here I am brushing my teeth by myself for the first time:

Here I am visiting my Great-Grandma Robinson. I love snuggling with her. I may or may not have accidentally peed on her carpet this visit. Thankfully she wasn't too concerned.

Here I am reading my favorite book, Peek a Who?, from Pa and Grandma Deana. This is when I started trying to crawl! I kept going backward at first.

Here I am with Nonni and Papa, blowing bubbles. Bubbles are strange, and I'm just not sure that I trust things that defy gravity.

This is my mom's attempt at being Aunt Beanie (a professional photographer):

My friends the Coppages came home to the states from Hungary where they are missionaries. I finally got to meet them! Here I am with Lea:

Here I am with my buddies the Colemans, Graham and George. We all met at Cracker Barrel to hang with the Coppages.

Here are the famous Coppages:

Here I am playing:
We had a Collier family reunion in July, which doesn't happen very often!

Here I am with Aunt Kay and Daddy:

You can't pick your parents.

Hanging with all the cousins:

Here's a more sensible family photo with my Nana:

Mommy and I got to go spend a week with Aunt Ali and Elias the week after he was born. We had so much fun! Aunt Liz came to visit us while we were there:

We both loved hanging out with her! She's a great mommy-in-training!

My cousin Regan and his girlfriend, Tracey, came to visit, too!

For those of you who don't know, a Bumbo is a seat for infants. It's getting a little small for me by this age. Sometimes I have to get wedged out of it. Does this Bumbo make my butt look big?

I love my Aunt Ali.
Elias was smiling from the very start! Mommy likes to call him "Easy E" because he's so easy going!
There a picture like this with my Mommy and Aunt Ali when they were our age:

Peaceful Elias:

Daddy says holding babies makes him sleepy. Elias was no exception!

We did a whole post on Elias' birthday, but here's another one we found:

That's it for July! Check back later for more. Don't forget to check out my birthday post!
