Blue Light Special

Bilirubin is a term that has been added to the Collier vocabulary thanks to Duncan's jaundice. Increased levels of bilirubin in the blood causes jaundice, so we've been anxiously waiting for his bilirubin count to drop. Despite the serious nature, it's been quite humorous to hear everyone try to pronounce bilirubin in casual conversation. We've heard every version you can think of - billy ribbon, bilbo rubin, billy blue...the list goes on and on. To decrease Duncan's bilirubin levels he's spent the last couple of days in a bili-bed, which is basically a midget tanning bed that emits a bright blue light.

Our own little bilbo rubin glow worm.

Duncan takes his tanning sessions very seriously.

The only time Duncan would come out of his bilibed was to be fed.
Got milk? Duncan does!

Who would have thought Duncan would develop Bobby's five o'clock shadow so soon?
