Busy Boy

Sorry that's its been so long since we posted! We've been very busy...lots of places to go and people to see, you know! Mom says she feels like my agent. :) Let's see. Where do I start with updating you?

Meeting Great-Grandma:

Last week, I got to meet my great-grandma for the first time! She's so great! We had a good time getting to know each other over at Nonni and PaPa's house. (As a side note, this was my first big trip in the car. I hate my car seat whether it is for a short trip to Target or a long one to Gordonsville. My dad says I scream like I'm on fire until I just pass out.) When mom went to pick up great-grandma, I stayed with Nonni -- it was the first time I've hung out with anyone without mom! It was great...Nonni played music for me and we danced around her house. I fell asleep listening and Nonni put me in the special crib she has set up in her room. I'm such a lucky boy.

PaPa stole me from my great-grandma for this shot. He looks guilty, doesn't he? He let me play the piano with my bum and set up the swing for me to take a ride. I loved it, so mom got me one for my house too.

Happy Birthday, Uncle Jeff!

Uncle Jeff's birthday was the same day as the Ohio State-Michigan game, so we had the party at my house. I wore my Jim Tressell outfit, and we whipped up on "That school from up North." We had corndogs, taquitos, cheese dip, pizza, and cake. My dad said it was a State Fair Party and all that was missing were the funnel cakes.

Uncle KC's Visit:

This is my Uncle KC. He came to visit me this weekend, and I really loved him. He knows just how to play with me and make me smile (he's had lots of practice with all of his nieces and nephews)! He's one of my dad's best friends, and I'm so lucky to have him as an uncle.

One Month Old!

Yesterday I went for my one-month checkup. I am now 9.5 pounds and 21.25 inches long. That means I've gained 2.5 pounds in one month and grew 1.25 inches. Can you believe it? My newborn outfits aren't fitting any longer...Nonni said I looked like a little sausage in one that mom stuffed me in. She said I needed to wear it at least once...but I think that's the last time, too.

Stay tuned for the Thanksgiving edition...Happy Turkey Day!
