My First Swim (and other adventures)

Hello, my friends! It's time to update you... :) Here I am with Uncle 'Teve. Did you hear that he has a new "real" nephew? Luke and I are going to be good buds when we grow up, I'm sure of it. Mom says, "Great job, Paige!"

I've been promising pictures of my best friends, Blake and Beckett. Here we are at the Short and Sweet Bakery in Waynesboro. Our moms wanted to go and hang out, and we ended up here! (From left to right: Blake, Beckett, Duncan) Mom says that it is very difficult to get 3 high energy boys under 2.5 years old to all be happy at the same time in one picture. I have no idea what she's talking about.

This is my Kate. She takes such good care of me while mom and dad are at work. I love her so much...she always makes me smile! Blake is here with her. I love watching him play; he really involves me with everything when I'm at his house. He reads to me, sings to me, and it makes me really happy. I couldn't ask for more!

Here I am in my swimming suit! Mom and I went to the pool yesterday for the first time. My swimming suit has floaties built in (just in case you thought I had been lifting weights). It may be a little big length-wise, but not width-wise, if you know what I mean.

At the side of the pool, getting ready to jump in!

Here we are in the locker room, getting ready. Mom said it was more of a workout getting me in the outfit than the actual workout of swimming. My Aunt Wubby says that it looks like my legs are toothpicks...isn't that what we call "Charlie Buck legs" in our family?

I was so happy!

Until...we got busted by the gym pool staff. I'll refer to them as the Gym Po-Po. Mom and I were having a great time splashing around until they told us that no children were allowed in the pool when there were no lifegaurds. OK...when are there lifegaurds? Sunday 2pm-4pm. Hmm. I should've pooed in the water right then and there, but I had just emptied my tank a few minutes earlier. Mom's grand plan of working out with me was foiled. Back to hitting the road in the jogging stroller. Clearly the staff have no appreciation for cross training. Not to mention how awesome my guns look in this swimmy-suit.

Happy Birthday, Law! Can't believe that you're 5 years old! We love you!

Happy Birthday, Muzzy! You're an amazing great-grandma and I love you so much!
