March and April 2011

In March, we went out to Ohio to see Muzzy and PopPop, Pa and Grandma Deana. It was a fun road trip! Mommy, Aunt Ali, Elias, and I got all packed in Aunt Ali's car and we hit the road. Mommy says we did "pretty good" for being small boys. Here we are in Muzzy and PopPop's house getting our air mattress broken in.

We love to rough-house!
One of the most exciting things was the Columbus Zoo! It was a little chilly, but we had so much fun! It was my first zoo trip.
Elias and I are sporting our shades.
I had a blast checking out all the animals!

I wish I could read...the following incident may not have happened.
See how I'm checking out the gorillas? I wanted to say hello, so I slapped the glass. Good thing I was strapped in to the stroller, because I jumped a foot in the air when that gorilla slapped back. My mom was laughing much harder than I thought was appropriate. It scared the poo out of me. Fortunately for her, I'm still in diapers.

We had a fun trip to Ohio! We love you, Pa, Grandma Deana, Muzzy and PopPop!

Here I am doing one of my favorite activities -- stacking things. I'm getting pretty good at it, if I may say so.

In preparation for Easter, Mommy got me these cool sports Easter eggs. I think that taking them apart and putting them back together is so neat.
I also enjoy coloring on the sidewalk with chalk, as well as long walks on the beach. :) Just kidding. I've never been to the beach.
Daddy is my best bud. We like to swing the golf club together; I try to teach him a few thing here and there.

I got my first barber shop haircut with Uncle Wilbert. I thought it was great at first...

I don't know if you know this look on my Dad's face. This is "Megan, take the picture now before I get really angry." Apparently women aren't really welcome in this establishment; or maybe it's just women with cameras and screaming toddlers. I couldn't tell.
My front yard is so fun to play in! Daddy worked really hard on the tulips, and I like to play with them.

Here I am EAster morning dumping out my basket. Such fun things!

After church, we went out as a family to lunch. Easter is about the same time as Nonni and Papa's anniversary, which is really the anniversary of our family becoming a family. We really like to celebrate that occasion!

With Nonni and Papa:
Hunting for Easter eggs:
Relaxing after a busy day with Papa and Elias:
Happy Easter!
I have a little announcement to make...I'm going to have a sibling! I don't know if it's a brother or sister yet, we'll find out in late June. He/she is due November 10th! Pray for a healthy Mommy and baby! Love to you all!
