June 2012

Here I am with Daddy, getting some vacuuming done.  You know, my work is never done.

Below, Whit is hanging out with Pa.  Whit, Mommy and I went to Ohio for 5 days.  We had a good time while we were there!  It was hot, but we had some adventures.  Here's Whit and Pa in Pa's backyard.  It was a wonderland...a big garden, a "pool," a hose that I was allowed to use.  I spent a lot of time in my diaper running around "helping."

 Here's Whit with Pop Pop:
 And with Muzzy:
And playing in Pa and Grandma Deana's living room.  They got us so many cool things to play with!  I had fun with the cookie monster chair, the bubbles, the play-doh...I could go on and on!
Here I am in the "pool:"
 Swinging on the porch:
Here I am with Aunt Whitney, Pa, Grandma Deana and Whit.  Not pictured are Bella and Jose, the doggies.  The doggies are how I learned to say, "shush" from Pa.  :)  I loved them, but kept calling Jose, "Gus."  Gus is Aunt Katie's dog, who I also love.  Now I like to call most dogs Jose, but I pronounce it "haa-say".  Mom says to enjoy it while I'm with them...because there won't be one living in our house any time soon!

 Both of us with Pop:
 Me and my Muzzy:
You couldn't even tell she had just had a hip replacement!  She's like a machine!

The trip to Ohio was lots of fun.  We also got to swim in Muzzy and Pop Pop's pool, go to the Columbus Zoo (twice!), get a haircut at the Cookie Cutters, and make some delicious food with Pa.  Thank you so much for having us, Pa and Grandma Deana!  It was great!

Here's Whit with Papa...he and Nonni came over and brought us cupcakes that night.  Delicious!

They're even tastier when they are hand-fed to you.  I love the service, Nonni.
Don't know if you heard, but we had some big storms that knocked out the power for a few days.  Nana and Grandpa didn't have electricity, so we got to have a big sleep over!  Aunt Nicki and Ayden were also in town, so it was perfect timing (for us)!
Here's Aunt Nicki snuggling with Whit:
Have you noticed that there are a lot of pictures of Whit this post?  Mommy says I move so fast that the camera has a hard time keeping up with me.  There are a lot of pictures of me, but most of them are blurry.  :)  You know what they say about a rolling stone...no moss here, ladies and gentlemen.

Whit started crawling this month, and I just keep learning new words every day.  We're both growing like crazy, and loving the summer.  We like to swim, help in the garden and "shoot foop" outside.  That's Duncan for shooting hoops.  Come on over, I'll drag you outside and make you shoot with me!
