And of course, I was there to help him celebrate!
And here is Whit, right where he was born! :) That was probably the look he had on his face at the time, too!
And here's Whit with Mommy.
And here's the team that brought Whit into the world...what a great day it was. Mommy says she can't believe that it's been a year.
Mommy ran a race in November, the Richmond Marathon...just kidding. She ran the 8k on the same day that others ran the Marathon! Aunt Wubby, Aunt Beanie, and Uncle Evan all ran the half marathon. Uncle Dan ran the 8k with Mommy, or at he least started with Mommy. He finished a few minutes before Mommy, which is ages in race time. :) Aunt Katie watched Whit for Mommy while she ran, and let us all stay at their house the night before. I got to have fun too, because I stayed home with Daddy and got to go to a football game!
Here's Aunt Wubby and Evan with Whit:

In November we got to go to Ohio! We took Aunt Beanie and Aunt Wubby with us, and it was so fun! Mommy said they worked harder on their "vacation" than they do at work. Here we are at the Columbus Zoo.
Here's Mommy and Whit...he gets to ride on her back all the time!
Here we all are, watching the reindeer. From left to right, that's Aunt Whitney holding me, then Pa, then Aunt Wubby, then Aunt Beanie.
They even have a train...no wonder it's one of the best Zoos in the country!
Here's another statue...these are bears. Aunt Wubby thought it would be funny to pretend she was being eaten by the bear cub. I didn't think so.
Here's Pa, "saving" Wubby from the bear:
See? I made her get up. I didn't find it funny.
Me and Aunt Beanie on the bear. A much more sensible approach.
Here's a real bear, but behind 12-inch thick glass.
Here's Whit with Muzzy. Mommy timed it just right so that Whit would sleep on Muzzy for his nap.
We also got to have Thanksgiving at Pa and Grandma Deana's house! It was delicious.
Muzzy and Pop Pop, relaxing after Thanksgiving dinner.

Mommy was very excited, because she got to take me to Ohio State's campus for the first time! We had driven around before, but this was the first time we got to get out and explore. It was so cool! Here's Campbell Hall, where Mommy had most of her classes:
Here is Mirror Lake, one of Mommy's favorite spots on campus. I really liked Mirror Lake...I love water and fountains!
At the end of Mirror Lake, there's a little wishing well:
Beautiful, isn't it?
Mommy loves this picture, because she stood in that same place many times. I wonder if she was wishing for me?
Here we are at home, "helping" Daddy rake leaves:
All of the shots of me are a little blurry. I don't stand still long.
Here we are putting up the Christmas tree right after Thanksgiving:
It was my first year being able to help put ornaments on the tree! I loved helping. It was so much fun, and so pretty!
This is how I hung ornaments. It made Daddy nuts, which really tickled Mommy. :)
Taking a break:
Whit had to be put in here with some Cheerios after a little while.
Daddy, also known as the Tree Nazi:
I can tell that this is going to be an exciting time! I get to play with the Nativity, and I like to take baby Jesus to bed with me. He also gets to ride in my red truck, which is my way of "gifting" Him. Forget the drums. I'm the Little Chauffer Boy.
Merry Christmas to you all!
Some thoughts from Mommy:
Duncan is pretty much potty trained now! He still wears a diaper for nap and sleep, but has become very self-sufficient with going to the bathroom! He loves to wear boxer-briefs, and calls them his "boxthers." The lisp is still there! He is speaking in full chapters now...and coming up with his own thoughts all the time. He puts things together that I know I've never said to him. He's amazing. He loves to sing songs, and has decided that hymns/praise music are the only "real" Christmas music, and that's all he wants to listen to right now. We don't talk too much about Santa, and Duncan will tell you that Christmas is Jesus' birthday. :)
Whit has become a climber, and no space is safe in the house! He now eats all foods, and copious amounts of everything! He is a screecher, but we're trying to teach him signs and words to decrease the need for the ear-piercing noise. Bobby said last night that his screech "makes my teeth hurt." He has started to throw himself backward when he doesn't get his way. Duncan has started to catch him and lay him down gently when he starts to do it...he's a good big brother!
These little men keep me very busy, and I sleep very well at night! :) We have some grand adventures coming up this month, so we will share some pictures soon. We love you all!
